Ashleworth Wedding Venue,
Gloucestershire

Proposal for a Wedding Pavilion set adjacent to a fantastic collection of Historic buildings. The Parish Church, Court House and Tithe Barn are located approximately half a kilometre southwest of the village of Ashleworth on a low platform of land that rises above the flood meadows close to the quay and Boat Inn on the river bank.

The Court is a well preserved example of a superior late medieval hall-house and was probably built along with the Tithe Barn in the third quarter of the 15th century. Elements of the Church date back to Anglo-Saxon times.

The development is based around the celebration of the Tithe Barn. The removal of the low-grade agricultural buildings in the farm yard will reinvigorate the Tithe barn and farm yard alike. This reinforced courtyard, framed by the Tithe Barn to the west, annexe barn to the north and Church to the East, is completed by a new pavilion to the south.
